1. Out of Bounds (Rule 27)
On or over the boundaries of the course and areas defined by white stakes and/or white lines.
2. Ground Under Repair (Rule 25-1)
(a) All areas marked or defined by white or blue lines or signage relief mandatory.
3. Movable Obstructions (Rule 24-1)
(a) Stones and rakes in bunkers.
(b) All hoops, temporary ropes and their supports.
4. Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24-2)
(a) All tee markers, *hazards (red and yellow stakes), permanently sited seats, distance markers (stakes and disks), the entrance road ,the service roadway across the 7th fairway, gravel and rubber paths, black and white indicator poles, concrete or wooden steps, bins, ball washers, machinery, course equipment.
* Relief not allowed if the ball is lying inside the margin of a Water or Lateral Water Hazard.
(b) All watering points, outlet covers and sprinkler heads/hydrant boxes. In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club lengths of the putting green of the hole being played, intervenes in the line of play between the ball and the hole the player may obtain relief as follows. If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which (i) is not nearer the hole, (ii) avoids such intervention; and (iii) is not in a hazard or on a putting green.
They are an integral part of the course and the ball must be played as it lies.
6. Measuring Devices
The use of devices which measure distance only are allowed.
Players can access weather reports on a smart phone.
Penalty for Breach of any Local Rule
Match Play – Loss of Hole; Stroke Play – Two strokes.
Metal spikes are prohibited on the golf course.
Distance markers in the fairways are measured in yards to the front of greens.
Please play quickly, repair ball marks & divots, rake bunkers, place rake back in bunker, replace hoops, ropes & supports.
All completed score cards must be returned within 30 minutes of end of round.
